Get Started with Android Development

This post will guide you through some <b>Android</b> basics as now many of you will be familiar about what is actually <b>Android. </b>To start developing applications , games etc in <b>Android </b>you must carry out some steps ..Well that is not difficult lets see what we can do to start developing in <b>Android.</b><br />

First of all I recommend you must have some knowledge of coding mainly for <b>Android</b> development <b>JAVA</b> is the best and worth. If you already have it so lets get started :-)<br />

<ol style="text-align: left;">
<li>Download <b>SDK ADT bundle </b>it contains each and every tool required to start developing in Android i.e Eclipse IDE , SDK , plugins, ADT etc included in this bundle so its easy for you to download with a single link and as it is my favorite and most of the developers recommend it . Eclipse is a powerful tool actually. So here you go <a href="http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html#Requirements">http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html#Requirements</a></li>
<li>Once you go to the link provided and download the bundle , when download is finished so extract the zip file named as "<span style="background-color: white; font-family: monospace; font-size: 13px; line-height: 14px;"><span style="color: #cc0000;">adt-bundle-windows.zip</span></span>" to appropriate location may be some directory .</li>
<li>After Extracted open the bundle and locate <b>eclipse </b>and launch it .</li>
<li>Hurrah Eclipse IDE is alrady loaded with ADT plugins , SDK . Now its time to start developing our first application.</li>

What is Android ...?

Each and every smartphone has an operating system basically which has all the features under it. <b>Android </b>is also a mobile phone operating system used in many smartphones , designed for touch screen mobiles nowadays which is developed by Google. It is an open source Linux platform operating system. One may ask what does open source mean..? Let me clear that open source basically means that the source code is provided along with the compile code (Run time). Developer can use the source code and can redevelop it or make changes according to their needs. Modification in the source code is encouraged to developers. There are no restrictions in open source community everyone can modify it and distribute it around the community.<br />
